The position This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as an Benefits Specialist, joining our Global Operations team. You will be reporting to one of our Benefits Managers. Key responsibilities • Work with the Global Operations regional managers to develop and oversee the following group benefit programs: group medical, dental, vision, life insurance, business travel accident, short-term disability, long-term disability, and other country-specific benefits • Coordinate benefit processing; review and approve billing • Create strong partnerships with our benefits broker and vendors and serve as a primary contact • Assist new employees with Benefits & Compensation • Research and respond to questions from employees and management regarding the interpretation of benefit plans • Assist with evaluating and designing new corporate benefit plans and programs • Be able to go from scout to scale and actually start things up In your role, you will have the opportunity to develop yourself as an experienced international benefits specialist, compliant in every country that we operate in. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in employee welfare benefits • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with team members and external contacts • Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads and meet time sensitive deadlines • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with associates, clients and vendors at all levels • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and ability to learn other programs as required • Writes and speaks fluent English • It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus Benefits • You can learn more about the benefits we're offering to all internal employees at Remote by visiting our public Benefits & Perks Handbook page. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change. Therefore, all compensation changes associated with an internal move will be reviewed by the Total Rewards & People Enablement team on a case by case basis.
